Lauren Goetz, Founder/Owner

“I always try to leave the woodpile higher than I found it.”

A lifelong Rochester resident and proud St. Bonaventure University graduate, Lauren Goetz has built a life rooted in community, connection, and service. After 25 years in Corporate America as both an accountant and a professional recruiter—and overcoming breast cancer—Lauren decided it was time for a change.

In 2016, she began lending a hand to neighbors, friends, and loved ones: sitting with an elderly neighbor for companionship, picking up prescriptions, helping kids catch the morning bus, and delivering forgotten lunch boxes. Word spread quickly, and what started as simple kindness grew into a thriving service built on trust, care, and personal connection.

Known for her warmth, integrity, and creative problem-solving, Lauren is deeply committed to helping people manage “the small stuff” that makes daily life easier and more enjoyable. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, knitting, and spending time outdoors. She serves on the board of her neighborhood association, is active in the Rochester Women’s Network, and, with her husband Scott, cherishes time at their Kendall cottage, on the boat, or gathered around a backyard fire.
