Who does Everyday Hands help?
We support older adults and individuals who need extra help at home or in the community. We also work closely with family members both local to Buffalo and Rochester and out of town who are coordinating care for loved ones.
What services do you provide?
Our assistants help with a range of non-medical tasks, including:

Are you a home health agency?
No. We are not a medical provider. We do not offer services such as bathing, toileting, or administering medication. We focus on daily living support, social connection, and peace of mind.
What is the cost of services?
Our hourly rates vary based on the service and location. We’ll provide a quote after discussing your needs. There are no long-term contracts—just flexible support when you need it.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
Yes, we require a 2-hour minimum per visit to ensure quality time and support.
Do you charge mileage?
Yes. If we drive a client or run errands on their behalf, a standard mileage rate is added to the hourly rate.
How do you screen your assistants?
All assistants are background-checked, trained, and chosen for their reliability, compassion, and professionalism.
Can I meet the assistant first?
Yes. We offer a free 30-minute consultation so you or your loved one can meet the assistant and make sure it’s a good fit.
How do I get started?
Simply contact us to schedule a quick intake call. We’ll learn about your needs, walk you through the process, and set up your first visit.

Can I schedule recurring visits?
Yes. We offer flexible scheduling options, including weekly, biweekly, or custom plans to fit your routine.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling a visit.
Do you work with clients who have dementia or memory loss?
Yes. Many of our assistants have experience supporting individuals with mild to moderate memory issues. While we don’t provide medical care, we prioritize safety, patience, and consistency.
Can you help with transitions like moving or downsizing?
Yes. We often assist with decluttering, packing, organizing, coordinating movers, and helping set up new living spaces.
Is Everyday Hands insured?
Yes. We are fully insured to protect both our clients and our team during every visit.
