Alana Russell, LCSW, Aging Life Care Specialist
Alana joined Everyday Hands in September 2025, bringing more than 25 years of experience supporting older adults and their families. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she has built her career around helping people navigate complex healthcare systems, care transitions, and long-term planning — always with a focus on maintaining dignity, independence, and quality of life.
With a Master’s in Social Work from Boston College and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Skidmore College, Alana offers expertise in assessment, advocacy, crisis intervention, and navigating healthcare and community resources.
Alana is motivated by the trust people place in her during some of the most important moments in their lives. She strives to ease their worries, provide clarity, and support their goals.
Alana enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries, and spending time in the sun (especially near the water). She loves walking with her dog, spending time with friends and family, and eating out or exploring new places.
